Situl Romula de la Reșca (lângă Caracal), capitala provinciei Dacia Inferior în sec.II-III d.Hr., este unul dintre cele mai extinse situri romane din România. Zidurile de incintă de 2km, amfiteatrul, temples și termele de pe 200 ha fac din Romula un monument de importanță europeană.
