Episcopia Romanului, cu Catedrala construită de Ștefan cel Mare în 1499, este cel mai important monument medieval din Roman. Tezaurul episcopiei, cu obiecte de cult din sec.XV-XVII, și picturile murale valoroase fac din Catedrală un monument de prim rang.
