Reșița este cel mai vechi centru siderurgic din România (1771) și găzduiește Muzeul Locomotivelor cu cea mai valoroasă colecție de locomotive cu aburi din țară. Locomotiva cu aburi din 1872 (a doua cea mai veche din lume în funcțiune), șinele de epocă și instalațiile industriale sunt fascinante.
