Babele sunt formațiuni stâncoase bizare situate la 2200m altitudine pe Platoul Bucegi, lângă Sfinx. Formate de eroziunea vântului și a ploii de-a lungul a milioane de ani, au forme care amintesc de bătrâne aplecate, de unde și denumirea.
