Mânăstirea Sucevița (1584), inclusă în UNESCO, este cea mai mare și mai spectaculoasă mânăstire din Bucovina. Zidurile de cetate cu turnuri masive și Scara Virtuților — frescă de 33m — sunt unice. Singurul perete fără pictură (din nord) e legat de moartea pictorului în cădere.
