Lacul Verde din Slănic s-a format în urma prăbușirii tavanului unei mine de sare în 1880. Culoarea verde-smarald a apei extrem de sărate și peisajul selenar din jur îl fac o atracție inedită, deseori comparat cu Marea Moartă.
