Cetatea Prejmer, construită de cavalerii teutoni în 1218, este cea mai bine conservată cetate-biserică din Europa de Est și face parte din patrimoniul UNESCO. Zidurile groase de 4m, cele 272 de camere de refugiu și biserica gotică sunt unice în lume.
