Biserica de lemn din Plopiș (1798), inclusă în patrimoniul UNESCO, este cel mai bun exemplu de arhitectură de lemn din Sălaj. Construită fără cuie metalice, cu technici tradiționale de îmbinare a lemnului, rezistă de peste 200 de ani.
