Mausoleul Eroilor de la Mărășești, construit în 1923-1938, este cel mai important monument al sacrificiului românesc din Primul Război Mondial. Adăpostește osemintele a 5073 de eroi căzuți în bătălia din august 1917, una dintre cele mai sângeroase din istoria României.
