Mânăstirea Horezu, ctitorită de Constantin Brâncoveanu în 1690 și inclusă în patrimoniul UNESCO din 1993, este cea mai reprezentativă operă a stilului brâncovenesc. Frescele interioare și sculpturile în piatră sunt capodopere ale artei medievale românești.
