Mânăstirea Dobrovăț, construită de Ștefan cel Mare în 1503 ca monument de mulțumire după victoria de la Codrii Cosminului, este un monument reprezentativ al arhitecturii moldovenești. Picturile murale ale lui Gavril Ieromonahul sunt valoroase.
