Biserica de lemn din Ieud Deal (1364) este cea mai veche biserică de lemn din România și face parte din patrimoniul UNESCO. Picturile interioare naïve din sec.XVII și Codicele de la Ieud (primul text românesc cunoscut, 1391-1392) o fac de importanță excepțională.
