Biserica din Densus, construită în sec.XIII pe fundațiile unui monument roman și cu materiale romane (coloane, pietre funerare), este cea mai veche biserică de piatră în funcțiune din România. Absida semicirculară, picturile medievale și inscripțiile latine o fac unică.
