Mânăstirea Căldărușani (1638), ctitorită de Matei Basarab pe malul lacului Căldărușani, este una dintre cele mai valoroase mânăstiri din apropierea Bucureștiului. Pictura lui Gherasim Agora (1756), biblioteca cu 10.000 de volume rare și muzeul de artă religioasă sunt valorile principale.
