Mânăstirea Bârsana, reconstruită în 1993 în stil maramureșean autentic, este cel mai frumos ansamblu monahal din lemn din România. Turla de 57m, sculpturile fine în lemn și iconostasul pictat sunt capodopere ale artei tradiționale maramureșene.
