Stațiunea Balvanyos, la 1085m în Munții Bodoc, combină ruinele Cetății Bálványos (sec.XIII) cu izvoare minerale și mofete naturale. Cetatea cucerită de Ștefan cel Mare în 1466 și priveliștile spre Lacul Sfânta Ana și Munții Harghita fac din Balvanyos un loc cu totul special.

Spring through autumn. Many castles close or limit access during winter.
